Last night four friends and myself attended our first Taste of Home cooking school!
It was so much fun!

When we first arrived we were handed a green recycled bag that was filled with goodies from a calendar to spices and Ziploc storage bags and containers.

After entering the convention center we found ourselves a table to sit. As we sat and waited for the presentation to begin, we looked through our bags and found several magazines filled with recipes.

After a few minutes we were introduced to our wonderful hostess, Michelle. She cooked ten meals for us in two hours. You can read her blog:

She made everything from turkey burgers to smoothies to a fruit tart. She was very entertaining and made us laugh often.

                  
I cannot even guess as to how many prizes were given away. Two out of the five of us won a prize! One friend won a bracelet and the other won a cookbook.

The room smelled so good, it made us all hungry. The scents of onions, meats and Mexican lasagna filled the air.

All in all it was a fabulous night to be out with the girls!
