Taste of Chicago partners with Humana for healthier choices

Summer in Chicago brings many favorite annual events. For many Chicagoans, Taste of Chicago is a must attend every summer. The vast and varied food offerings make the Taste a food lovers dream. Even among all these culinary delights, many vendors are offering healthy options.

Again this year, Humana is highlighting healthy menu choices throughout the Taste of Chicago. The Humana Healthier Choices items have more options this year than in years past. A panel of top Chicago-area physicians and nutritionists reviewed and selected the Healthier Choices based on calorie count, sodium and saturated fat content. The healthier items are indicated by a green apple on the menu boards at participating restaurant booths and are also listed in the Humana Healthier Choices Passport Guide, available for free at the Humana tent throughout Taste.

Here is a list of the Humana Healthier Choices available at this year's Taste of Chicago.
