Saturday, March 2 head down to Atlanta Food Truck Park & Market as they present Taste & Brews, a food truck culinary festival to benefit Governor's Glen Senior Support Services which assist families and individuals needing financial assistance with adult day care, short-term care or full time total care in dealing with Memory Impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. Event starts at 1p.m. and runs until 6p.m.
Tickets Include food samples from 6 Atlanta food trucks:
- Yumbii - beef or tofu tacos (pairing beer - Lager)
- WOW - 20 hr. smoked pork served over stone ground cheese grits and topped with house made chipotle cream and BBQ sauce (pairing beer - Pilsner)
- Sweet Auburn BBQ - smoked pork baskets w/ toast and pear slaw (pairing beer - Pilsner)
- Masala Fresh Indian Street Food - chicken tiki masala with rice and samosa bite (pairing beer, IPA)
- Happy Belly Curbside Kitchen - ponzu brined and braised pork shoulder with Chinese 5 spice, hoision BBQ, GA Honey, smoked blue cheese flatbread (pairing beer - Lager)
- Gezzo's Surf & Grille - Jamaican jerk chicken taco with jack cheese, lettuce & salsa (pairing beer - Island Lager)
There will also be 100's of beer and wine offerings for your souvenir tasting cup and live entertainment featuring the winner of the Acoustic Showdown at Tin Roof Cantina along with DJ Suspense.
