Head to Taste Addison and sample the more than 60 restaurants dishing out food, beer and more.
This year’s Taste Addison event features the first “Taste: The Competition” event. Participating restaurants will prepare special menu items featured at their locations through May 31. Votes will be collected for the People’s Choice and a panel, including Food Network’s Ted Allen, will select the grand prize winner.
Participating eateries offer everything from donuts to sushi and include De Tapas Restaurant, The Londoner and Blue Mesa Grill. Cool off with dessert from Paciugo, or Marble Slab Creamery.
Taste Addison takes place May 21-23 in Addison Circle Park. Free parking is available at Dallas Parkway and Arapaho Road. Parking can be scarce in later hours, so arrive early or come prepared to walk a while. If you’re traveling pretty far to attend, take advantage of the travel packages with special hotel rates and two free admission tickets and $10 in Tasty Bucks.
Tickets are $5. Prices increase to $15 after 5 p.m. Children 3 and under get in free. Make the deal a little sweeter by purchasing discount tickets at area Albertsons stores.
