Gospel recording artist Tasha Cobbs will release her debut album, “Grace” on Tuesday, Feb. 5. Cobbs' lead single, "Break Every Chain," is breaking records on radio and retail charts: the single debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Digital Gospel Song chart. "Break Every Chain" was the #1 most added song at gospel radio the week it entered at #27 on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart.
A powerful worship leader, Cobbs first ministered "Break Every Chain" at Bishop T.D. Jakes' Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference in Atlanta, Ga. Cobbs also had two recent guest appearances on TBN's Praise the Lord where the single was well received by the show's international audience.
Cobbs is currently on a promotional tour that kicked off in Atlanta Jan. 27. Other tour stops include Lindenwold, N.J.; Philadelphia, Pa; New York, NY; Los Angeles, Calif.; Houston, Texas; Baltimore, Md.; New Orleans, La; Chicago, Ill.; and Jacksonville, Fla. On Sunday, March 24, the tour will visit First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 600 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, Md., where Pastor John K. Jenkins is the senior pastor.
