Tarrant County's 8th Annual Carnival de Salud event will take place Saturday, October 5th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tarrant County celebrates this during the Binational Health Week, at the Dr. Marion J. Brooks Building, 1101 S. Main St., Fort Worth 817-321-4700.
First come first serve for the free flu shots advertised. There will be more than 32 community organizations participating. Some of the screenings being advertised on flyers are listed below:
-HIV / STD screening
-Blood Pressure check
Education presentations will have special focus on the Health Care Reform which begins enrollment October 1. Certified Enrollment Navigators will be on site.
Kids can decorate thier bicycles and participate in the safety course. Some prizes will be available for children under 12 who participate. Free parking and open to the public.
