Tarot readers are popping up everywhere, from a shop in your neighborhood to various internet locations. How do you choose the best method of looking into your past, present, and future?
First, method isn't the issue. An accurate reading can be done in person or by phone, Skype, and email. The Tarot works off the energies of the reader and the client, but the two don’t have to be in the same location to do so. I have no explanation for how this works, but it does.
Choosing your reader, which is what matters, may take trial and error. A reader is easy to find. They are crawling out of the woodwork. But, a good reader is what you want. You work hard for your money and most likely you’re not into throwing it away.
How to choose your reader and not throw your money away?
- Word of Mouth – talk to friends who have already found a suitable reader, scan the web for testimonials, and/or hang out at tarot forums.
- Trial Runs – some readers offer introductory discounts for first-time clients, some run specials during holidays, and some even offer free readings.
- Tarot Blogs – some of the best readers can be found in the Blogosphere. They offer you daily insight into the world of tarot, their communication abilities, and most offer readings.
Above all, it’s important to feel comfortable and confident in the reader you choose. If you have a bad experience with one reader, don’t be afraid to explore the tarot world to find another. All readers are not equal, just as all clients are not. The relationship between the two is an important detail. Not that you have to be buddies, but you do need to have a positive interaction.
Warning – Don’t deem a reader incapable because you don’t ‘like’ what you hear. Sometimes we are not ready to discover certain things. Take a few weeks to reflect on your reading before making a final judgment on the reader.
