Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto franchise has a clamoring fanbase, one that always pushes for a simultaneous launch on all platforms, including PC. But that's not how things have gone, Grand Theft Auto IV didn't see the light of day on computers until eight months after it launched on consoles. The same could be true of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V. It will not be releasing at PC at launch but will inevitably see the day within the next year, but could that day be sooner than we think? A YouTube video uploaded today by user GamrInsanity shows an ad for the game at target which lists PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 as platforms that the game is available for preorder on.
While it could easily be an error, in the long run it will certainly come true. The question is, how soon will that happen? Could this indicate that we'll see GTA V on PC this year rather than the Spring of next year? Some fans certainly hope so.
