Tapas Valencia, offering the traditional tastes of Spain in the form of hot and cold tapas, paellas, cazuelitas and more in the South Loop, invites guests to start the weekend early and donate to a worth cause.
Thursday January 14th, Chef Filemon Ochoa will offer tapas small bites, in addition to a Sangria Tasting with flavors ranging from traditional red to peach, pomegranate, mango and white sparkling.
The price of the event, $20 per guest, will be donated to Gilda's Club Chicago, a support organization that reaches out to both patients and their families who have been touched by cancer. The organization serves with networking and social activities, support groups and workshops to complement medical care.
The evening runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
