As if it couldn't get any better, Joey and Chi Le's Deep Ellum hot spot, Tanoshii Ramen + Bar has elevated its lunch, dinner and late night menus, adding items such as blue crab sunomono, raw oyster shooters, seafood ceviche, mushroom ramen and more.

The husband and wife duo certainly do have a thing going on—Chi is the genius behind the recipe development and Joey is the master noodle chef. Chi says, “Ramen is truly an art. The ramen chef and the one eating the bowl of ramen are the artists as every bowl is made differently and every bowl is eaten in each person's own special way.”

While the restaurant has been happily buzzing along without needing to change a thing, the Le's want to keep the menu exciting and evolving. Co-owner Chi Le says, “ We have grown a lot since we first opened, and now that we have more experience under our belt, we developed dishes that are more creative and elevated while still preserving classic Japanese ramen culture.
