Nestled in the Berkshires during the dogs days of summer, is a place to sit in the sunshine, under the stars, or inside a tent surrounded by gorgeous views, harkening to a wide range of award-winning music talent.

Take a seat on the Tanglewood lawn under the bright, summer sunshine or inside the Koussevitsky Music Shed. With the upcoming roster of talent, Tanglewood offers many reasons to make the trip!

Just about half way through the season, and the Tanglewood stage has welcomed accomplished artists such as renowned soprano Renee Fleming, the return of five time Grammy award-winner James Taylor, a Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor, Chanticleer, Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander as he entertained audiences with Broadway hits, and violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter took the stage as Music Director of the Boston Pops, Andris Nelsons conducted the “Lynde Family Concert.’

Among the many highlights still to come is the return of Film Night with John Williams on Saturday, August 2, Tanglewood on Parade on Tuesday, August 5, Tanglewood Food and Wine Classic event on Thursday, August 7-10, Leonard Slatkin’s 70th birthday celebration on Sunday, August 17, and the recently announced, legendary boys of summer, ‘The Beach Boys’ on Monday, August 18!

Building up the season’s big finale is the premiere of the classic film, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ with live orchestration on Friday, August 22, the return of the hit TV show, NPR's ‘Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me’ on Thursday, August 28, Grammy award-winning ‘Train’ on Friday, August 29, renowned singer Josh Groban on Saturday, August 30, and Tony Bennett with special guest Antonia Bennett perform Tanglewood’s big finale on Thursday, August 31!

Throughout the season, enjoy the rich, classical music of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Bernstein and much more!
