Rapunzel presents her own story with the help of Eugene and the Royal Theatre players led by Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones. The vaudeville style entertainment of Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones hearkens back to another time but is just delightful. Audience participation is encouraged by four lovely maids who encourage each of the four sections to shout, clap and boo (at the appropriate times).

Rapunzel’s story begins with her kidnapping. She is kept up in a tower by an old witch who only wants to use the magic from Rapunzel’s hair. After she and Eugene meet, the two run away to have great adventures and fall in love.

From time to time, Rapunzel and Eugene will come back into the audience area or across the Fantasy Faire Square under the tree. Recently, the couple greeted a line of fans who waited patiently to get autographs and take photos with their favorite storybook stars.

Royal Theatre show times are 11:05 am, 12:15 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:15 pm, 4:30 pm, and 5:45 pm. Arrive five minutes before the show to get a seat. Snacks are allowed in the theatre.
