Tamra Barney doesn't let all the negative articles about her bother her too much. In an interview with All Things Real Housewives, posted on Tuesday, August 19, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star said that much of the negative press that surrounds her is due to the fact that a celebrity reporter is a friend of Simon Barney, her ex-husband.
When asked to comment on the reports that she and Eddie Judge were already getting divorced, Tamra said that there is a reporter who works for gossip websites Radar Online and National Enquirer who is friends with Simon and feels the need to write horrible stories about her every day. Tamra and Eddie married in June 2013.
Tamra admitted that she initially felt horrible about what was being written about her but now realizes that any press, even bad press, is better than no press in the world of reality TV. She thinks its funny that her ex's friend is helping her become even more famous. "So thanks for keeping me the most talked about OC housewife, even if your stories are fake," she said.
As for how her relationship with Eddie is really going, Tamra maintains that there's no trouble in their marriage. She said that Eddie is the best thing that has ever happened to her and that they're really excited and happy to be expanding their CUT Fitness gym business.
Another thing that Tamra doesn't have to worry about is her friendship with fellow housewife Vicki Gunvalson ending because of the drama that happened between them this past season. In her latest Bravo blog entry, posted on Monday, August 18, Vicki wrote that while she doesn't agree with everything that Tamra does and says and wishes that she would stop talking badly about others so much, she only "want[s] the best for her" and that she doesn't want them to be fighting.
Vicki is even open to becoming good friends with Tamra again. "Let's see how things go with us moving forward," she wrote.
Vicki Gunvalson's words about Tamra Barney seems to indicate that any fighting that they did on the "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion show, which taped in mid-July and will begin to air on Monday, August 25, wasn't so bad that their relationship is now irreparable. Perhaps viewers will even see them making fun of Heather Dubrow together again on the next season!
