Tamra and Vicki on filming 'RHOOC' without Gretchen, Alexis and Lydia

Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson had no qualms about filming season nine of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" without Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino and Lydia McLaughlin. In an interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Monday, April 21, the two housewives answered the question of whether it was weird to not have their former co-stars around for the new season.

Clearly showing her dislike for Gretchen, Vicki said that it wasn't weird at all to not have Gretchen around. She noted that she didn't know Lydia very much to miss her. As for Alexis, Vicki admitted that she did miss her a bit. She concluded, however, that it's always good to have new women brought into the show, joking that it gave her an opportunity to "haze" them.

Tamra agreed with Vicki. She gave a resounding "no" about missing Gretchen. Tamra also admitted that she missed Alexis a bit as they left last season on good terms with one another. As for Lydia, Tamra thinks that she's "a sweet girl" but noted that she simply didn't have the chance to get to know her well.

Both Tamra and Vicki joked that for the new housewives to have a good relationship with them, they better suck up to them. "Kiss our ass!" Tamra yelled, while Vicki, poking fun of her status as the oldest Orange County housewife, added that they need to "respect their elders."

Tamra's dislike for Gretchen has intensified now that the two are currently embroiled in a war of words. Tamra has accused Gretchen of trying to talk to reporters to comment on her child custody battle with ex-husband Simon Barney. Gretchen denies doing such a thing. In her denial, Gretchen also refuted Tamra's claim that she was fired from the show.

Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino and Lydia McLaughlin left "The Real Housewives of Orange County" after season eight, leaving Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson and Heather Dubrow as the only returning housewives. For season nine, they were joined by Shannon Beador and Lizzie Rovsek, as well as Danielle Gregorio as a "friend of the housewives."
