The Tampa Amateur Radio Club has another TarcFest set for Saturday, April 19th, 2014 at their clubhouse on N. 22nd Street in Tampa. Admission is $4/person, with an additional $3 charge for a tailgate sales space. Parking is free at the field across from the clubhouse. Set-up begins at 7 a.m., with general admission starting at 8 a.m. Coffee, soda, and other food items will be available for purchase, in addition to the wide variety of electronic items, wire, antennas, radios, test equipment, and just about anything electronic. Everyone is welcome....bring the family, and bring your electronic equipment for sale or trade. The event wraps up around 1 p.m., or until the last junque has been sold. This is a good event to get those odd electronic parts you can't find anywhere else.

TarcFest is easy to drive to, located on the east side of Tampa at 22nd Street. Take Hillsborough Ave. east to the stop light at 22nd Street, then just go north directly into the clubhouse area at the north end of 22nd Street. If you are coming on the interstate, take I-4 westbound to the Hillsborough Ave. exit, go west to the 22nd Street light, then turn north. If coming from I-275, again take the Hillsborough Ave. exit, but go east to the 22nd. Street light, then go north. The address is 7801 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33610. The link above takes you to the Tampa Amateur Radio Club web site, with maps, complete directions, and a pdf information sheet. See you there !
