Tampa man is out on bond after allegedly having sex with a dog, WSPA7 News reported March 5.
Police were dispatched to 8125 N. Marks Street after a call came in Wednesday morning about a man having sex on his property with a large pit bull. Neighbors had called out to the man, who refused to stop.
Neighbors told the Tampa police they were disturbed about the behavior of Bernard Marsonek, 58, who lives at the address.
Officers entered the back yard area, where they arrested Marsonek for two counts of firearm possession by a felon, aggravated animal cruelty and sexual activity involving animals. More charges may be filed later, pending an investigation.
Marsonek is a convicted felon. Police seized a firearm with ammunition. Hillsborough County Animal Care Services took custody of eight large pit pulls found on the property.
Marsonek was arrested and taken to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, where he was later released on $17,500 bond.
