There are 31 days and counting until pitchers and catchers report to spring training and with training camp comes a full schedule of pre-season games where fans have the opportunity to see not only the stars of today, but those of tomorrow.
The first workout day for pitchers is Wednesday, Feb. 13 with the first full-squad workout set for Sunday, Feb. 17.
On Friday, the Rays announced the process for purchasing single-game tickets for spring training, which will be held at the Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fl. The Rays will open their pre-season against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1:05 p.m.
Single game tickets range in price from $10 to $27 dollars and can be purchased now through the Ray's Early Access Presale, for fans that are Rays Insider subscribers. The deadline to register as a Rays Insider is Wednesday, Jan. 16 at noon. If you are a current subscriber, there is no need to re-register.
This opportunity is available exclusively at raysbaseball.com and only a limited number of tickets are available during this promotion, which ends Jan. 18 at 9 a.m. There will be a four (4) ticket limit per game per customer transaction for this presale opportunity.
On Friday, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. tickets will go on sale online to the general public exclusively at raysbaseball.com.
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19 tickets will go on sale via phone at 888-FAN-Rays or 1-800-745-3000 and as well online at raysbaseball.com or at:
