Tampa Bay Lightning set to host Fan Fest on Sunday

If all goes as planned, the Lightning will welcome fans back with their annual Fan Fest on Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

At this time, the festivities are pending provided the NHL Players Association ratify the new collective bargaining agreement that was unanimously approved by the NHL owners on Wednesday, Jan. 9. NHL Player Association voting ends Saturday (Jan. 12) morning.

Fan Fest doors will open at 9 a.m. and fans are asked to park in the Forum's East or West lots and enter through the Forum's main entrance.

Lightning players will sign autographs from 10 - 11 a.m. Following the autograph session, the players will return to locker room to get ready for their first official practice of the season, which will run from 12:30 – 2 p.m., led by Coach Guy Boucher.

While fans wait for practice to begin, there will be commentary provided by Bolts management, coaches and broadcasters. Additionally, ThunderBug and the Lightning Girls will be on hand.

Season ticket members who wear their jerseys will receive a number of benefits, including free parking and exclusive autograph opportunities on the club level. There will also be a kids’ zone where ThunderBug will be taking photos with members of his Kids Club (free to sign up).

The Lightning will be hosting a 20th Anniversary Warehouse Sale with game-used equipment to benefit community hockey and those in attendance will get their first look at the Forum’s new $5 million center hung scoreboard, the largest in any North America arena.

All those in attendance will also have the first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets. They can also receive 50 percent off select merchandise and have access to food and drink specials.
