After months of heated negotiations, the National Hockey League has finnally come to an agreement with the NHLPA to actually play hockey. The 2012-2013 season officially opens on January 19, and to celebrate, the Tampa Bay Lightning Rolling Thunder Tour is making another stop at Dinosaur World on Sunday, January 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Visitors to the park are invited to come play street hockey under the watchful eyes of the triceratops, see the Rolling Thunder Truck, get Lightning prizes and promotional items. Visit with Thunderbug and the Lightning girls (park admission not required for these activities).
Park admission is $14.95 for adults and $11.95 for ages 3 to 12 to see over 200 life size dinosaurs including the indoor Prehistoric Museum with the "live" dinosaur exhibit, where you can hear a T-Rex roar and watch the Pteranodon flap its wings as it prepares to fly.
If you haven't yet visited the real "Jurassic Park," located just off I-4 in Plant City, FL, now's the time to go. The museum is located at 5145 Harvey Tew Road, and can be reached by phone at 813-717-9875.
