Tami Roman doesn't know whether there will be a season six of "Basketball Wives" but if there is, she knows she'll be in it. In an interview with The Chicago Tribune, posted on Wednesday, March 5, Tami talked about her future on the show as well as that of her co-star Evelyn Lozada.
Tami revealed that she's contractually bound to appear in the sixth season, if there is one.
"If the show were to make a return, then I’m contractually bound to be a part of it," she said.
As for Evelyn, with whom she has had a tumultuous relationship with during parts of the show, Tami said she may not return.
"Evelyn Lozada is a mommy now. That part of her life may not necessarily work with the 'Basketball Wives' format. Potentially, she might have a spinoff in the works," she said.
Tami herself is working on her own spin-off titled "Roman Empire," which she hopes will be picked up by VH1, and a show for CBS that's scheduled to air in the summer.
The show's creator and executive producer, Shaunie O'Neal, hasn't said anything about whether the show is returning lately but she has been busy promoting the show's spin-off "Basketball Wives LA."
"Tonight is the night..tune in for the season 3 premiere of 'Basketball Wives LA' at 8pm on @VH 1," she posted on Instagram in mid-February.
