The results are in for Billboard's 2013 Year-End charts. The top-selling gospel albums for 2013 were ranked by sales data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. The chart-topping album from Tameka Mann, "Best Days" tops the list at No. 1. The Grammy-nominated album is on track to eventually reach Gold status if sales remain strong.
New label Motown Gospel had two albums in the Top 10: "Grace" from Tasha Cobbs and "Greater Than" from Tye Tribbett. Both projects reaped recent Gammy nominations with Tye Tribbett receiving three nominations; Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance ("If He Did It Before...Same God"), Best Gospel Song ("If He Did It Before...Same God") and Best Gospel Album. Tasha Cobbs received a Best Gospel/CCM Performance nod for "Break Every Chain (Live) and was nominated for Best Gospel Album.
RCA Inspiration scored three albums, "WOW Gospel 2013," Hezekiah Walker's "Azusa The Next Generation" and Fred Hammond's "United Tenors."
The debut album from Andy Mineo, "Heroes For Sale," took the No. 9 spot. Larry Callahan & Selected of God continue to quietly make their presence known. The group takes the No. 10 spot with "The Evolution II."
