Talthina Jackson will be arraigned for cruel treatment, and injuring her 14-year-old son

Talthina Jackson, 37, of Cleveland, was indicted on charges of felonious assault, endangering children, domestic violence, and aggravated menacing.

Prosecutors say on August 14, 2010, Jackson assaulted her 14-year-old son by choking him with her hand, biting him on the face, and striking him in the head with an iron because she thought he was stealing from her.

The 14-year-old received 6 stitches as a result of his injuries. The indicted charges also pertain to the Talthina Jackson's cruel treatment of her other son, who had just turned 14.

Talthina Jackson’s arraignment is scheduled September 8, 2010 at 8:30 am.
