Iowa City folk musician Sam Knutson will open the show. Doors at Vaudeville Mews will open at 8 p.m., and the music will kick off at 8:45 p.m. There will be an $8 cover charge at the door, and the show is restricted to those 21 and over.

Tallgrass returns to Iowa for a Valentine's Day concert in Des Moines.

Tallgrass calls their music "dirt stomping soul". Brothers Adam and Austin Morford formed the band with Matt Skinner in 2011. They released their debut album God, Sin, Whiskey, and Women in 2012. In their short existence, the band has already shared the stage with the likes of President Barack Obama, Melissa Etheridge, Sublime, The White Buffalo, Greensky Bluegrass, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Head for the Hills, and Whitewater Ramble. Tallgrass has returned to the studio recently and is targeting their second album, Better Than Medicine, for some time in the spring. Check out the band performing "Hand of God" on Iowa Public Radio's Java Blend in the above video.
