Mickey has a few new tricks up his sleeve at Walt Disney World. A talking Mickey Mouse is now featured at Town Square Theater, the character meet-and-greet location at Main Street, U.S.A in the Magic Kingdom.
The talking Mickey Mouse appears as his Town Square Theater character, that of Magician Mickey. This Mickey Mouse greets Disney guests in his dressing room filled with posters, steamer trunks and stage props that highlights his film and stage career with several references to other Disney movies and park attractions.
Now guests have the opportunity to chat up Mickey, sort of, in the backstage-themed meet-and-greet experience. Talking Mickey greets guests with some stock phrases, as th accompanying video suggests, saying things like "Well, hi there," "Come on in" and "Could I sign that for ya?"
Disney guests who visit Magician Mickey at Town Square Theater can meet the famous mouse, who will sign autographs and pose for photos. Mickey appears daily at this Magic Kingdom location. Town Square Theater is one of Magic Kingdom’s designated meet-and-greet areas. Other newer character meet-and-greet areas in Magic Kingdom include Princess Fairytale Hall Pete’s Silly Sideshow in New Fantasyland.
