We, in the Kansas City Metro area, are so fortunate to have the resources and the educational opportunities that the Truman Library has to offer.

This Saturday, September 10 at 11 am, you and your family can hear a professional presentation on Bess Truman's recipes.

As her husband ascended to the highest office in world history, Bess Truman proved she could "stand the heat" - and not only in the kitchen! In this culinary-themed program, archivist Tammy Kelly (a self-described foodie) will offer Museum visitors a taste of Bess Truman's recipes, as well as the delicious stories behind them.

Harry S. Truman Library and Museum , 500 W. 24 Hwy.
