Talk back Spokane-DC sniper John Muhammad to be executed this evening.
Barring a last minute stay that is not likely to come from the Governor of the State of Virginia, John Muhammad will die by lethal injection at 9:00 p.m. tonight.
There is clearly an absence of your normal death penalty opponents filing what are called friendly briefs in his behalf.
Even the ACLU is being unusually silent in this case. Pretty much everyone on the planet wants to see this guy dead. He was at least partially responsible for the murder of 10 people in the DC area.
He and his protégé Lee Melvo , also killed people here in Washington State, Arizona, Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland.
Anyone have any thoughts they would like to share?

John A. Mohammad- Went and served our country- His wife on Larry King said he came back a different person-What are we going to do with these other soldiers coming back home after staying 2 & 3 terms. These are the things we need to be concerned about. Mohammad's case is so extreme; however, all of these shell-shot GIs need help with counseling when they get back and then observed on their mental level. How SAD we are.
I totally agree. What are we putting in place for when the soldier come home. Not excusing anything that he did he was Totally wrong but, What do you do when America turn people on to kill and they don't know how to turn them off. It's time to put a system in place so this wont happen again!!!
Yes we send very young soldier off to war. I was 17 when i arrived in Vietnam. Many of our soldiers are 18, 19, and 20 they are seeing horrific things. I'm not ashamed to say the war effected me and I suffered from PTSD but I never went about or even considered murdering other people.
while we all wired differently and I believe we are in for big trouble if we don't find some effective help for our veterans. Trust me you create a bigger problem if treat them the way you treated the Vietnam Veterans that came home with problems. The American people destroyed a generation of soldiers that fought a war not of their making.
To ignore the problem and hope it goes away will cost the American people hundreds of billions of dollars.
there is a solution but government officials and the American people will not like it because it will cost them a billion dollars a year. Of course if they ignore it will cost them many billions a year before they even no it.
