Talespinner Children’s Theatre specializes in live productions aimed at children and the young at heart. Not only are their shows family friendly but they carry a moral message as well. Currently, TCT is presenting “The Floating Dolls – a Polish Folktale through July 6, 2014. The show is onstage at the Reinberger Auditorium that is located at 5209 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102.
In “The Floating Dolls” Anatol’s family and neighbors have been driven to distraction because Anatol will not stop crying. Help comes from an usual source as a mysterious female stranger comes to town and by using nine magical rag dolls and a river of tears she is able to change a town’s troubles into happiness. The Floating Dolls is an enchanting story told through story, song and magic as actors and puppets take you on a journey to two far-away lands. This is a great show to teach children how children and babies are the same all over the world and families come in all shapes and sizes.
