A full house was on hand at Leo Wolfe's farewell (in Florida) performance. The concert was held at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers. It was a farewell as Mr. Wolfe will be heading, in August 2011, to Hollywood!
During the concert, singer and actor Leo Wolfe was joined by pianist Charles Fornara, who was the one responsible for arranging the 20+ 'pieces' sung and performed that night.
Other artists that took the stage with Wolfe, during some of the arrangements, was cellist Scott Crowley plus guests Madison Mitchell, Cassie Simpson, Brittany Mills and Zach Thrope. Support, credit and in attendance was Dr. Carol Nabatoff, Leo's mother, with Nabbies.
Due to her studies abroad, performer Amanda Hootman was absent, but her parents attended. Her father, Roger, video recorded the concert.
Also in attendance was celebrity Lesley Staples, actress in film, Calendar Girls (2003), and her husband, Ray Asper.
Leo Wolfe, and artists, performed everything from musical theatre, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and more from a warm, yet when needed, vigorous energy. All eyes were upon each performer as they performed on a ground level stage with the audience in stadium-style seating.
Leo Wolfe, your fans will continue to follow you on your new journey, to that of Hollywood!
