Casting directors are urgently looking for females aged 17-20 years old, who look 15 years old maximum with acting experience from Northern Ireland (or the Republic of Ireland) who can sing and/or play the guitar or piano (even if at basic level) for the significant and challenging speaking role of KATIE in the 5 part serial killer drama "The Fall" starring Gillian Anderson which will be filmed in Belfast between the end of March, 2012 – beginning of June, 2012. The Casting directors are also seeking a body builder for a principal acting role.
"The Fall" is a gripping psychological thriller that forensically examines the lives of two hunters. One is a serial killer who stalks his victims at random in and around Belfast and the other is a talented female Detective Superintendent on secondment from the MET who is brought in to catch him.
The girl they are searching for will play the role of the 15 year old Katie, brought up by her single mum in Northern Ireland, rather than being a "girly teenager" she is a tough cookie that having hit puberty has just realized her sexual prowess and is playing with it like a toy as she flirts with an older married man that she babysits for.
