It is always a special occasion when Tiffany & Co. Leather Collection Designers Richard Lambertson and John Truex come to town. It is no surprise RSVP’s overflowed when given the chance to meet the men at Atherton’s Menlo Circus Club. The equestrian center and private association has spent almost a century uniting San Francisco and the Peninsula through philanthropy. It was the ideal locale for the region’s top Tiffany ladies to become acquainted with the Fall line, and support Laurene Powell Jobs’ charity, College Track. Lambertson and Truex walked the women through their favorite details and answered questions while guests tried on piece after piece.
Truex is an avid rider and relished the opportunity to tour the beautifully upkept barn and polo fields. Tiffany & Co.’s South Bay Director Brian Neel, and Jillian Manus hosted the luncheon, which included Jennifer Raiser, Susan Solinsky, Marsha Monro and others. As a thank you, Neel presented Manus with a big blue box including a present from the collection. As luck would have it the color of the clutch matched her outfit to a tee. The other handbags displayed lovingly in the room embodied the warmth and texture of Fall. Richard Lambertson describes the direction as “a range of deep, burnished colors that reflect the richness of fall.” Check out the Hot Shots section to see moments from the event and who else attended.
