For support systems:
- Five great AP groups on Facebook
- New web site launches to connect AP parents and find local AP-friendly resources
Local groups ~ There may be a local AP group where you can find support both online and off. Type in AP and several variations of your location in the search engine on Facebook to see if one is near you. In the Mankato area, there is the St. Peter-Mankato AP Playgroup.
Take the time to take care of yourself, for your own sake and for your children's. Not only is a happy mother a more patient and fun mother, but you're setting an example for your children. Show them the importance of meeting your own needs too.
"A mother's happiness is like a beacon, lighting up the future but reflected also on the past in the guise of fond memories." ~Honoré de Balzac
