Men love to ask a woman if she knows how to ‘take care of her man’, but the reality is, there are so many different facets involved with that statement, that one can not simply brush over it with such a broad stroke. Due to that fact, this is the first in a series of articles that will be established over the course of a few weeks in an effort to help women answer that question with the proper information at hand. This is not to say that men are free from any responsibilities, we will eventually cover how they should ‘take care of their woman’ as well.
In order for a woman to determine whether or not she is capable of taking care of her man in the manner he desires, the first step is determining what that is. While some men may require more hands on attention, for others it may be more about quality than quantity in their needs. You can’t possibly attempt to be the best at something if you have not determined the best course of action. Just like a chef determines all the ingredients for a new recipe, you will need to learn all the facts before proceeding.
The first step is of course communication and lots of it. Since you are most likely not a mind reader, you can’t always figure out everything someone needs unless they are willing to tell you. Of course over time this will become easier as you learn their moods, needs and desires. In the meantime, conversation is key!
In an ideal situation, the two of you discussed what you both needed in the beginning, during the early stages of dating and getting to know each other. If not, it’s not too late to start now. Most men will appreciate your willingness to put in the work to find out what he needs and desires from his mate, after all, it is being done with his happiness in mind.
