Taking Back Sunday set to perform an intimate acoustic show on Long Island

Taking Back Sunday is set to play at Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville, N.Y., on Apr. 14. The special performance is courtesy of Looney Tunes, a record store located in West Babylon. The store has hosted many intimate acoustic in-store performances over the years including other Long Island acts Bayside and Brand New.

However, the change in venue is a special one for fans as the band will be playing an extended acoustic set and signing autographs at the 500 capacity venue. The show has already sold-out in which fans were only able to gain access to a free wristband for entry by pre-ordering the upcoming album “Happiness Is” through the Looney Tunes record store. The album is to be released on March 18 via Hopeless Records.

The Looney Tunes and Revolution joint venture has only happened once before when Coheed and Cambria came to the venue to play a show for the release of “Afterman: Ascension” in 2012.

If you are not able to attend the special show, Taking Back Sunday will be back to the New York City area on Apr. 15 and 16 for two more sold-out performances at the Best Buy Theatre.
