Taking a look at the July portion of the Tulsa Drillers 2013 schedule

With Spring Training now underway, let's turn our attention toward the Tulsa Drillers and what will be awaiting fans at ONEOK Field this season.

In this and upcoming articles, I'll be breaking down the Drillers schedule month-by-month. In this installment, we'll look at the July portion of the 2013 slate, which contains the most home games (17) of any month during the season. It's also the first month of the season where every home game will begin at 7:05 p.m.

Tulsa opens the month by finishing a road series at Corpus Christi before an off day and a return to ONEOK Field. San Antonio pays its second visit of the season to Tulsa for three games from July 3-5, including an Independence Day matchup. After the three-game set against the Missions, Corpus Christi will come to ONEOK Field for three games, concluding the homestand.

After an off day (the last of the month for Tulsa), the Drillers head to Arkansas for four games against the Travelers before coming back to Tulsa for four games against Northwest Arkansas. Those four games will be Tulsa's only appearance at ONEOK Field between July 9-24.

Following four games at Arkansas and three games at Springfield, the Drillers come back to Tulsa to finish July with a four-game return match with Arkansas and three games against Springfield.
