Takedown Wrestling takes mat fans into the action live from the 2013 NAIA Wrestling Championships for its live two-hour broadcast Saturday, March 2, the show announced Thursday.
The 2013 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Wrestling Championships will be held at Jacobson Exhibition Center at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines Friday and Saturday.
The NAIA currently sponsors wrestling at 41 colleges, mostly small schools. A total of 36 schools will have at least one wrestler competing in Des Moines this weekend, including qualifiers from first-year programs at Benedictine, Bethany and Life.
Takedown Wrestling hosts Scott Casber, Steve Foster, Jeff Murphy, Brad Johnson and Terry Cook will talk about the 2013 NAIA championships this Saturday 9:00-11:00 a.m. Central and 10 a.m.-noon Eastern.
