Stress, work, family, friends; practically everything in the world can make you tired and feel exerted. I know, I know..most of the time you just have to move on and keep going. But what can you do? It’s the moments you take for yourself that can make all the difference. I try to do one thing for myself a day. Selfish? Maybe, but it makes me feel a little better. For example, today I took a bath which I have not done in years. Yes, it is a waste of water, but it was truly relaxing.
Here are some things you can do for yourself
-Take a bath
-Climb Spencer's Butte by yourself
-Make yourself a nice dinner
-Don’t answer your cell phone until 11am (on weekends of course)
-Get a message
-Get a manicure or pedicure
-Read a book
-Take a yoga class
-Do a craft project
-Take a class (dance is always great!)
-Say 'No' from time to time
-Take a walk through the University campus
-Go out to dinner with a friend
