The Kids with Food Allergies Foundation is conducting an online survey of parents. They would like parents of children with food allergies as well as parents of children without food allergies to take part. The survey asks questions regarding how schools and daycare centers deal with food allergies.

The survey was just released and there were more than 1,000 responses in the first day. Keep the momentum going and voice your opinion on several current issues facing public management of food allergies. If you have mulitple children with food allergies, answer the survey with only one child in mind. If you choose, you may answer the survey more than once to represent each child.
Data collected will be analyzed to determine general perceptions of how food allergy should be managed in the school setting, with input from both the food allergic as well as non-food allergic community, to help us better serve everyone’s needs in the community. This information will be kept in a secure location, under electronic encryption. We intend to publish the results in the medical literature. This survey is being conducted as a research partnership between Kids With Food Allergies, The University of Michigan Medical School, Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology; and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Division of Pulmonary Medicine, Allergy & Immunology.
