Take Sounder train to Seattle Mariners vs. Oakland Athletics at Safeco Field

If you don't want to hassle with driving to Safeco Field for the Seattle Mariners vs. the Oakland Athletics this weekend, take the Sounder train. No worries about traffic, parking, ferry lines or gas money when you take the Sounder to the 1:10 PM game on Sunday, July 13. Here are the northbound and southbound schedules:

Northbound Sounder Schedule

  • Lakewood - 10:45AM
  • S. Tacoma - 10:50AM
  • Tacoma - 10:59AM
  • Puyallup - 11:11AM
  • Sumner - 11:16AM
  • Auburn - 11:25AM
  • Kent - 11:32AM
  • Tukwila - 11:39AM
  • Seattle - 11:58AM

Southbound Sounder Schedule

  • Everett - 11:15AM
  • Mukilteo - 11:26AM
  • Edmonds - 11:41AM
  • Seattle - 12:14PM

Return trains will leave King Street Station 35 minutes after the game. Regular fares apply. Baseball fans will have more opportunities to take the Sounder train to Safeco Field this season. Here are the remaining Sunday afternoon games, all at 1:10 PM:

  • Sunday, July 27 - Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles
  • Sunday, August 10 - Mariners vs. Chicago White Sox
  • Sunday, August 31 - Mariners vs. Washington Nationals

This special Sounder train service is in addition to Sounder's regular Link light rail service to and from Safeco Field. Link runs every 10 minutes on Sundays and serves 13 stations in downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila and SeaTac. Link's Stadium and International District stations are a short walk from Safeco Field. A number of Sound Transit Express buses also drop off passengers near the stadium.
