Take an Urban Bus Tour of Dallas

Don’t miss the opportunity to tour historic Dallas with Professor Emeritus Paul Geisel from the University of Texas at Arlington School of Urban and Public Affairs (SUPA). Geisel will be heading his Urban Bus Tour through the culturally diverse and historically significant neighborhoods surrounding downtown Dallas, among them: The Cedars, Oak Cliff, West Dallas, and Lakewood. Scheduled to take place on November 9, the tour is sponsored by the UTA SUPA Alumni Chapter.

Tour participants have a choice of starting points, one in Arlington, the other in Dallas. The tour will depart in Arlington from the Dan Dipert Welcome Center at UTA, located at 600 S. Center Street at 9:30 a.m. and will return there at 2:30 p.m. The tour will depart from the Dallas Housing Authority at 3939 N. Hampton Road in Dallas at 10:00 a.m. and return to that location at 2:00 p.m.

Urban Bus Tour attendees must register by Monday, November 4, and can do so online. The $55 per person registration fee includes lunch. The tour is not recommended for children under 12.
