The Beatles London Walk app for the iPhone.
There's a new app being released this month for iPhone users that lets users walk in the footsteps of the Beatles. It's the new Beatles Walk app for the iPhone. It's a guided tour app of Beatles locations including 16 Fab Four locations from Abbey Road’s zebra crossing to the Savile Row rooftop.
Fully digital and downloadable, it celebrates the 40th anniversary of the "Abbey Road" album topping both UK and U.S. album charts. The app, which incorporates maps, written content and pictures, was created by designers Clay Interactive with writers David Roberts and Martin Downham. It's available for download for 99 cents (or 59p British currency).
The app can operate independently as an encyclopedic look at London’s Beatle locations or as a real walking tour guide with
easy-to-follow instructions
street-by-street.
The app is the first of a series of literary and pop walks to be made available soon.

There's a new version of this with added locations which include the house in Montagu Square where, at various times, John, Paul, Ringo, Jimi Hendrix and Yoko Ono lived!
