Take a walk on the wild side at the Oakland Zoo

This Saturday brings one of the more wild events of the year: Oakland Zoo's Walk in the Wild.

Wild not in the sense that you'll drink yourself under the table like you would at Fort Mason, but wild in the sense that the activities are pretty incredible.

For those of you not in the know, the Oakland Zoo's Walk in the Wild is one of the premier fundraising events in the Bay Area. Obviously you'll get to see the wildlife, but in addition, expect to see live music, enjoy free food and drink, and end the night with dancing and dessert.

Oh, and let it be known that this isn't your typically catered event. The food vendors include some of the best restaurants in town. Including A16, Bourbon & Beef, E & O Asian Kitchen, Hopscotch, and many many more.

As for the beer, Walk in the Wild will once again present a stellar lineup. The full list is below, but I'm especially glad to see Faction Brewing and Oakland Brewing Company present.
