Take a stand against Obama's trampling of the Constitution

The passing of an unjust law has aptly been called the suicide of authority. President Obama and his motley crew of Constitution trampling, gun grabbing Progressives are a prime example of this. Though sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution; they take every opportunity to abrogate and abolish the rights it contains. His blatant violation of the Bill of Rights, circumvention of Congress, and setting himself up as King- endangers our very Republic.

President Obama manipulates this fear in his desire to fundamentally change America into his own twisted vision. Never one to allow a tragedy to go to waste; he is turning citizen against citizen. The historically ignorant and professional hoplophobes are pushing us down a very slippery slope. The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the American way of life are all in jeopardy. Will Alabamians and our fellow Americans answer the call in time?

President Obama and crazy Uncle Joe whether through misguided ignorance or willful malevolence threaten our heritage, freedom, and safety. The rights and freedoms we enjoy didn't come easily. They were hard fought for via the blood, sweat, and tears of our Founding Fathers. These liberties have been preserved by the sacrifices of countless generations ever since. Vigilance on our part is necessary if freedom and America are to survive Obamanism's Progressive assault.

Come judgement Day, as we stand before our Creator; may we be found worthy of the Founders sacrifices. May their deeds be ever in our thoughts and imprinted upon our hearts. May God grant us the intestinal fortitude needed to stand fast in defense of our freedoms and heritage. Pray daily that every liberty loving Alabamian will ask God to direct us, strengthen us, and sustain us in the execution of our duties as free men and women.

For decades now the warning was sounded that freedom was in peril. Citizens were repeatedly told that if they didn't awaken from their slumber, get off their posteriors, and speak up - tyranny would creep in. We allowed the predicament we are in to develop. Due to apathy, indifference, and silent consent; law abiding gun owners are slapped in the face. We are maliciously demonized and vilified. The enemies of liberty continue to grow more brazen each day. Each time President Obama tramples the Constitution underfoot the chains are being welded upon us link by cold link.

If we are are only one generation away from losing our liberties than ours may be the last. Wake up Alabama and take note! There is a storm brewing on the horizon. The very foundation of our Republic is being undermined. Awaken the vigilant protectors, stand firm against evil, and cease being a victim. Watchmen man your stations and be the sentinels in the watch tower of liberty. Do not stand idly by as our rights are encroached upon, the Constitution shredded, and totalitarianism takes root. If freedom doesn't grow; it dies.

Act like citizens; not subjects. Accept nothing less than full unadulterated freedom. Too many are riding on the backs of others instead of being active in the cause of liberty. Set aside differences, cooperate, and be victorious. Don't take over 200 years of freedom for granted. Never relinquish your rights for frivolous or mundane reasons. Contact your Alabama State legislators and ask them to support the Alabama Firearms Freedom Act (House Bill 48) as introduced by Alabama State Representative Mac Gipson. It would "exempt from federal regulation under the Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution a firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition manufactured and retained within the borders of Alabama." Nullify Obama's tyrannical actions. Urge the Governor to stand against his attacks on the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Alabama. Contact your respective Representatives in Washington and demand they stand for the Bill of Rights.Make your voices heard in the offices of Senators Richard Shelby and Senator Jeff Sessions.
