March 24th, 2012 will be the largest non-theistic secular rally America has ever seen. For the greater community of reason, the Reason Rally is our moment. It is our moment to let politicians know that we are a voting block and that they should take us seriously.
The Reason Rally is also going to be a lot of fun and a great chance to meet atheists, humanists, rationalist, freethinkers, skeptics, brights and any other label that is part of the greater community of reason from around the nation. There will be guest speaks and Bad Religion will also be performing.
If you are in Philadelphia and can’t or don’t want to drive down to nation’s capital, then I have some great news for you. There is room for you on the Reason Bus. This will be a private luxury bus which will give you a round trip to the Rally and back to Philly for less than the cost of gas, tolls, and parking.
The Reason Bus will leave Philadelphia at 5:44am from 2955 Market St; 30th Street Station, West Entrance. It should arrive in DC at 9am about an hour before the Reason Rally begins. This will give people time to meet new friends and track down other atheists from around the country. The Rally ends at 4pm, but since most people will probably want to socialize and get dinner, the Reason Bus won’t leave DC until 6pm.
Round trip tickets are $45 per person if purchased before January 24th.
Please join us on the Reason Bus! Tickets are available online @http://reasonrally.dcrallybus.com/
If you live in another city, check the website for details about Reason Buses in your area.
I hope to see you there. I will be there wearing my signature DangerousTalk shirt. Feel free to say hello!
