Tommy Doyle's Irish Pub in Cambridge, MA has long been the Harvard Square place to go for drinks and entertainment, but now, it's become the place for a lunch break to enjoy its burger and beer specials, available Mon. through Sat. from noon to 4 p.m.
Owner Pete Woodman introduced three new 1/2 pound, house-made, top round Angus beef burgers. The three include:The Kingdom Burger, a classic l/2 pound burger between a light, fluffy bun, with lettuce, tomato and onion; The Rebel Burger, a ½ pound Angus beef burger topped with melted cheddar cheese; The Hill 16, a ½ pound Angus beef burger topped with a generous slab of Irish bacon and melted cheddar cheese. Each burger comes with fresh, hand cut fries. A choice of a draft beer or select bottles accompanies each of the three special burgers for a package price of $9.99.
The beef is farm raised in New England, sourced locally, and hormone-free. Many options allow diners to choose from a variety of toppings and types of burgers so there is something for every taste. An outstanding beer selection rotates with new draught beers every couple of weeks to keep the selection fresh and up to date.
“People already love our burgers and nothing goes with a burger quite like a great beer. This pairing makes lunch easy, delicious, and affordable,” says Woodman.
