“Far Cry 3” was initially released on Dec. 4, 2012, for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms. Upon the release of this title, it gathered a large amount of praises throughout the video game industry. Not only did this title give gamers a brilliant gameplay experience, but the characters within this title also stood out. A character that has gained a massive amount of attention within “Far Cry 3” is the game's antagonist, who is named Vaas.
It was previously announced that Vaas' character was not initially going to be in “Far Cry 3.” In regards to this, through an article that was posted on Kotaku on Jan. 11, we have now acquired an image of the character that was originally going to be the antagonist for “Far Cry 3.” As can be seen in the slide-show above this article, the original antagonist for “Far Cry 3” was going to be more of a brute character.
I, for one, am glad that Ubisoft decided to trash the idea of this character for Vaas. Instead of using the typical huge monstrous antagonist for this type of setting, Ubisoft has done something unique and rememberable with the use of Vaas.
Be sure to take a look at the slide-show above this article to view the original idea behind the antagonist for “Far Cry 3.”
