Clevelanders have the opportunity to celebrate their love for both chocolate and wine when they participate in one of the self-driving tours along Ohio's Vines and Wines Trail at the Northeast Ohio wineries hosting the "Chocolate is For Lovers" events on Friday, February 1, Saturday, February 2, Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9.
Chocolate is For Lovers Events Taking place from noon - 6 p.m. on the specified dates, each person will receive a Schott Zwiesel crystal wine glass, a candy dish and chocolates provided by Bakers Candies of Cleveland. At each winery stop guests will sample two wines and enjoy a complimentary appetizer.
Participating wineries are the Bene Vino Urban Winery in Perry, Biscotti's Family Winery in Conneaut, Buccia Vineyards in Conneaut, Deer's Leap Winery in Geneva, Debonne Vineyards in Madison, Emerine Estates in Jefferson, Ferrante Winery & Ristorante in Geneva. Goddess Wine House in Ashtabula, Grand River Cellars in Madison, Old Firehouse Winery in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Maple Ridge Vineyards in Madison, The Lakehouse Inn Winery in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Old Mill Winery in Geneva, Tarsitano Winery in Conneaut, The Winery at Spring Hill in Geneva and the Virant Family Winery in Geneva.
Tickets for the "Chocolate is for Lovers" wine events are $50 for couples and $40 for individuals. The tickets are good for all 4 days that the Vines & Wines Trail is open. Reservations are required. Call 800-227-6972 to make reservations.
