Are you trying to lose weight? Take a healthy lunch to work.
Here are reasons you should take a healthy lunch to work: save money, consume appropriate portion sizes, lose weight, follow daily menu plan and control the amount of sodium, fat and calories consumed.
Make a toasted turkey sandwich at home. Use 2 slices of 100% whole wheat bread, 2-3 ounces of sliced turkey, 1 slice of provolone cheese and 1 teaspoon of Mayo with Olive Oil or mustard. Omit the cheese if you are monitoring sodium, cholesterol and fat levels. If you like heat, add jalapeno slices to your sandwich. If you toast the bread, assemble the sandwich at work. Enjoy 1 cup (8 ounces) of 2% milk or green tea with your turkey sandwich. Also, include a delicious apple or juicy orange.

Healthy eating + daily exercise = Weight Loss. Get a physical from your doctor before starting a new exercise regimen. Also, surround yourself with positive people who will encourage you to lose weight.
