Take a free hike on Earth Day at the Houston’s Arboretum

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center wants families to get outside this Earth Day. They’re hosting a free Earth Day celebration this Saturday (April 9) 10AM-4PM.

Families can hike along the Arboretum’s Outer loop trail. Along the way interact at “Animal Activity Challenge” stations. Compete with various Arboretum residents. Test your balance on a log at “Squirrel Scamper” or match your jumping skills against a frog’s at “ Hop, Skip and Jump.”

Refreshments will be offered and Freebirds Burritos will be available for purchase.

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center will also be offering discounted membership packages. Learn more about the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center.
