Holiday shopping is fun, exuberant and down right oh yea, so and so will love this, I think. But with all the selecting of the perfect gifts you can become exhausted and feel like your tongue is hanging out of your mouth like a fish out of water. Its like a constant dental check without the dentist. So, the prognosis for shopping blahs is to go out and let someone entertain you.

In Chicago, there is a theater in every neighborhood. It may be a church theater group, a community theater group, a college theater group or a professional theater group, there is someone ready to give the best acting performance. Here are some you performances you may know and a few that are new like Wicked is at the Oriental theater, Die Fledermaus is at the Lyric Opera’s Civic Opera House, The famous Nutcracker is at the Auditorium theater, Million Dollar Quartet is at the Apollo theater
Old Jews Telling Jokes is at the Royal George theater, Once upon a people and Its all right to have a good time: the story of Curtis Mayfield is at the Black Ensemble theater, It’s a wonderful life: Live in Chicago is at the Green house Theater Center
A Christmas Carol is at the Goodman theater and The Empire Streks Back: a Burlesque show, nude performances, at Gorilla Tango theater, just to name a few options for this weekend. You can also find many other shows this weekend at Venue Kings.
