After wowing much of the world (and receiving over six million hits on Youtube) in the span of one week, Lin Yu Chun (dubbed by many to be Taiwan's answer to Susan Boyle) lost out on the competition on talent show Super Star Avenue. Why? His latest performance lacked the "wow" factor present in his take on "I Will Always Love You," and then sudden rise to fame may have also played a role on the 24-year old singer's nerves.
Even though Lin may no longer be in the competition, CBS News is reporting that the internet sensation's career is far from over. The singer (who was made fun of and called "fatty" during his time in school) is already negotiating a record deal, and claims he would even like to perform in the United States at one point.
So who does he look to for inspiration? No surprise -- Lin aspires to be just like Susan Boyle, who has already sold over 8 million copies of debut album "I Dreamed a Dream."
Are you surprised that Lin Yu Chun's TV show allowed him to lose one week after becoming a global celebrity? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more of the latest TV news.

his opponent on that day in my opinion didn't sound better at all. it seems like the overall look of the singer is more important in this "talent" show. bad call on the judges. if it were a voting system, he would have won.
i agree with you Gi he should win but thats just us
